The IHD Group comprises 25 independent input suppliers to all sectors of Australia's food and fibre production industries. We have aggregate gross annual sales of approximately $1.25 bn, generated from in excess of 191 branches employing 1390 staff across the membership nationwide.
Our Members command an estimated 40% of the agchem market in horticulture, and dominate the broadacre market segment in the regions in which we are present (23% excluding WA). IHD Members hold approximately a 50% market share in summer fruits and in a changing cotton market hold a 33% share of the remaining conventional cotton.
IHD Group Members account for more than 15% of the Australian agricultural fertiliser market with aggregate annual sales of more than $250m.
Link Groups
IHD Link Groups provide a business forum for members to meet together and discuss operational matters of mutual interest that affect the conduct and performance of business in various segments from broadacre to tropical crops.
